As part of our literacy programme, A4 has published the stories they have written by recording them onto video. We have also recorded some of our language experiences. We hope you enjoy viewing them as much as we enjoyed making them.

The Walrus
As part of our Under the Sea study we have been learning about a lot of different creatures that live in the sea. Here is a poem about a walrus written by Jack Prelutsky.
We know that poem as well. We think the sound at the end of the poem is the walrus calling for its baby. Solomon thinks it's a baby calling to its mother for help. From A3
Did you know that the two large tusks that walruses have are actually teeth that they use to pull themselves out of the water?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great poem! You should present it at a school assembly!
